Here are two sand paintings completed by students. Create and bring your own picture/idea, or you may select one of our pictures. You will be working on a small wood baseboard.  The material fee is $5.00; or you may go larger for an extra $10.00 material fee.  Estimated time 3 to 4 hours.  Make and take same day project.

Painting on glass is a fun practical art project!  Any glass may be used to create a fun, personalized, funtional or creative project.  Material fee is $10.00 - including a glass piece of your choice or $5.00, if you bring your own peice of glassware.  Estimated time to create 2 to 4 hours (depending on the amount of detail you want to include).  Make and take same day project.

The unique and method used here is a fun and different way to create art.  The process starts with selecting a bottle (or you may bring your own) and cleaning it well.   Knowing the size and shape of your bottle will help dictate how to create your ceramic mold.   Painting your imprint on  your glass is optional.   You may make wall art, serving plates, bowls -  just to mention a few ideas.  Material and two firing fees are only $10.00.  Estimated time 2 to 4 hours, depending on the amount of details desired.  This project will not be ready to take home the same day, but will be available within a few days to pick up. 

Above are two examples of some of the "Green"  jewelry you can learn to make.  Pop tab art, not shown, but makes great jewelry. When creating your jewelry, we can use a mixture of material to create just what you want.  Learning how to make your own paper beads is rewarding and something you can continue to do on your own.  Material fee is $5.00 - $10.00  Estimated time 2 - 4 hours - depends on how much you make!  Make and take same day project.

You may select a ceramic cabochon of your liking and learn how to wrap and secure your stone in wire or choose beads to use for your wrap.  You may also make your own cabochons to use for a later time.  Material fees vary upon your selections.  Minimal fee $5.00 - beads and wire and $10.00 for cabochon and wire or for an additional $5.00 you may upgrade to a non-tarnish silver wire.  Estimated time 2 - 3 hours. Make and take same day project.

Making a sand candle is fun.  You start with a color sand of your choice.  Pouring wax into a hand made mold, creates a candle in the shape, color and size of your liking.  Material fee is $5.00 for a small candle.  You may upgrade your candle into a larger size for an additional $5.00.  Exploring with various sand and/or wax colors can make a fun adventure.  Make and take same day project.

Painting on ceramic tile with under-glaze paint allows you to paint as much detail as you would like!  These tiles painted are then fired to seal the color onto the tiles.  After the 1st firing, a clear glaze is painted over the under-glaze and fired again.  You may use your tile as a coaster or decorate your home with your wall art.  Material fee $8.00 per tile.  Estimated time 2 - 4 hours; depending on the amount of detail you add.  This project will not be ready to take home the same day, but will be available within a few days to pick up.

Beading allows you to make so many different designs, patterns and types of jewelry.  Learn some tricks of beading so your art looks professionally done.  Material fee is $10.00 for seed beads and findings to make one item of jewelry.  Additional fee ($1.00-$3.00) for other choices of beading materials and supplies:  including crystals, fancy beads and additional seed beads for enhancing your art.  Make and take same day project.
